The licensing terms resources on this page define the terms and conditions for the software and online services products you purchase through Microsoft licensing programs.
The Product Terms contains all the terms and conditions governing the use of Microsoft Products and Professional Services acquired through Microsoft licensing programs. The terms formerly contained in the “Online Services Terms” have been moved into the “Product Terms” and no longer exist as standalone terms. For more information about the Product Terms, read the FAQ: Product Terms. Archived versions of the Product Terms documents prior to February 1, 2021 are available here, and archived versions of the Online Services Terms documents are available here.
Online Services Data Protection Addendum (DPA)
When you subscribe to an Online Service under the terms of the Product Terms, the data processing and security terms are defined in Microsoft Online Services Data Protection Addendum (DPA). The downloadable Word document versions of the current and archived editions of the SPUR will continue to be available for download here.
Service Level Agreements for Microsoft Online Services (SLA)
